Undoubtedly, Leather Leone is one of the most charismatic female metal singers of the past four decades. She first gained attention in the 1980s as the frontwoman of Chastain, the band of exceptional guitarist David T. Chastain. She has produced a number of successful albums with him up to the present day, some of them for Shrapnel Records, the label of legendary US talent scout Mike Varney. In addition, Leather has released highly acclaimed records with Malibu Barbi, Sledge/Leather, and as a solo artist.
