Holebones.

The name comes from the milanese typical dish “Ossobuco”, wich represents the core of the towns culture and tradition.

The band starts as a Trio back in 2019, playing in Clubs in the milanese Blues scene.

Heggy Vezzano (guitar), Andrea Caggiari (bass and lead vocals) and Leif Searcy (drums) soon find a great chemistry while performing classic blues songs.

As day goes by and the pandemic covid 19 hits the world, the three musicians decide to “smartwork” their way out and decide to rearrange 4 classic blues songs at home.

The moment that local lockdown has ended, the three musicians decide to hit the Studio and record 8 songs.

At this point Nicolò Polimeno, who is not only NoLo Studio's owner and Sound Engineer but also a great guitarist, joins forces and becomes the forth member of the band.

At this point every musicians gives it's personal touch and the result is an atypical blues band, whose musical influences come from a variety of genres, that include music from the afroamerican culture (Blues, Gospel, Hip Hop, Rythm'n'Blues) as well as american Rock, Stoner and Grunge Music.

“LOUD!” is the upcoming album of the quartet, a selection of blues , spiritual classics and protest songs.

All songs are revisited and rearranged to give it a “fresh” and contemporary feel, revealing powerfull yet very delicate atmospheres.

The Holebones lineup features the talents of italian guitar great Heggy Vezzano, who is known for his work with Artists such as Andy J Forrest, Cooper Terry, Ronnie Jones, Malina Moye as well as sideman for pop artists such as Francesco Renga, Emma Marrone and Nina Zilli.

Andrea Caggiari on lead vocals and bass has performed with various italian Blues acts such as Amanda e la Banda, Daniele Tenca and others.

Leif Searcy is a renown session drummer who has performed all over Europe and plays for italian Pop Rock Artists such as Carmen Consoli, Malika Ayane, Emma Marrone, Francesco Renga.

Niccolò Polimeno is the “young gun” of the band, a great guitar player and songwriter as also sound technician of his own “NoLo “Recording Studio.
