However, vocally gifted Katie finally gets upset when she is forced to lay down singing tracks so her untalented stepsister, Bev Van Ravensway (Missi Pyle), can hopefully win a recording contract from Massive Records--whose company president is scouting for spectacular new voice at a talent showcase for the Performing Arts Department of a prestigious private school.
